Ending A Yellow Jacket Wasp Nest #pestcontrol #bee #organicgardening #insects
Yellow Jacket Wasps are aggressive and determined. Be safe to protect yourself and have a few plans to deal with them and escape from them.
I found that using a 4 ounce bottle of any dish soap and boiling hot water worked best to eradicate the ground nest. Always work while they are all in during the night or early morning. And use smoke as a calm to their aggression.

Is this Russian tarragon?
Thank you! Also keeping water in a copper jug for 24 hours before watering helps as well if it needs to flower faster.
That was a wise pep talk at the end sister. Thank you for the encouragement against yellow jackets and I can use it pertaining the dangerous environment I am in my close proximity to the city and things getting bad where I am.😊
Call exclamation point thank you for sharing
Thank you for the quick post.
You're welcome
Pretty flowers. Those bees are working 🙂
Thanks. It's beautiful to see God's creatures enjoying and helping the flowers.
Love the lavender.
Thanks.
These are the most gorgeous peonies I've seen! I have it in my garden and it's incredible!
I needed this video. I had some yellow jackets as well. Good to know if they come again.
Thank you… this was a gem!
Thank you!
Love the color. Beautiful flowers 🌸
Thank you. It's really a pale pink, but pretty.
So pretty. Love the color!
Thank you. It's going on it's third year, getting bigger and better each year.
Hi. There are 2 types of Juniper Berry. The juniper monosperma vs juniper communis. What’s the difference between the two?? Is one better than the other? Which one is best and safest to consume for health? Thank you very much.
Is it just me, or does she look like Oprah
Nice job - I'm confused about where to cut the tarragon, however.
Thank you. You can cut the tarragon at the stem. Leaving 2-4" of stem from soil for regrowth.
When you bake your compost what temp & for how long? What is mix of compost to "soil"? THanks
Hello, thanks for watching. I bake at 170-200 degrees, the lowest setting on my oven. I leave the compost in from 30-45 minutes. Let cool for a few hours. All bugs should have been removed off. You can add water to the soil to add steam during the baking.
The mixture of compost to soil depends on what is being planted. If said plant likes dryer soil less compost and more perlite, vermiculite...etc. And, vise versa for other plants.
Thank you for this great detail!
@@virghedges569 you're welcome
The greek people use it in marmalade wile we boil Syrops and so on
Lovely! ❤️
Very interesting, l am going to try that. Your video was very well presented. Cheers from Ottawa, Canada 🍁
Greetings! I'm glad you stopped by for a visit. Thank you for your kind feedback. Feel free to circle back and let me know how it works out for you.
Fun fact they are actually a fleshy cone (like a pine cone... but fleshy) we just call them berries because they don't resemble most well known cones
I like this flower....l love this flower....I need this flower... please give your contact number....
If you mix fresh comfrey by weight with brown sugar and use a paper towel as a lid sit in a warm place not infront of a window for 10 days it will become a more super charged nutrient strain it off and refrigerate 1ml per liter
Thanks for the information. ❤️
Electro culture is epic!
Has not worked for me at all.
@@crazysquirrel9425 did you put the electric culture rod an inch or two away from the base of your plant and have it on the South side I believe it was? You got to get those two things right to really use it benefits.
@@breesechick South side, wound clockwise, 6 foot tall, and depending on the plant, up to a foot away. Some I can't because of the plant and don't want to kill the plant by damaging the roots. Even at a foot away, I should see SOME results. No matter the distance, none of the 7 I did worked. I do have tall trees, house, and high tension power lines very close.
@@crazysquirrel9425 I think having it almost a foot away because you're being cautious about your plants roots is why I didn't work. I agree with the logic that it being in the general vicinity near the base of the plant would work but I don't think it works that way. I tried to use electric culture a few inches away from my fruit tree and a few inches away from my vegetables and it didn't work until I stabbed my electric culture Rod like an inch away from the base of my tree and my garden vegetables that I noticed that start working. But I was willing to risk the treat and vegetables in the event that didn't work. Don't do anything you're not comfortable with, I just noticed the same results as you into I kept moving it closer to the plants until I saw some exponential growth.
@@breesechick I read that the 6 foot one should do 3 sq feet of area.
why can't i subscribe ...
Thanks for wanting to subscribe. I am not sure why you can't. RUclips sometimes blocks channel growth. Please keep trying. Thank you!
I can’t subscribe to any new channel. It’s been that way for about a month.
Wow pretty cool gonna try
Thay grow lovely flowers
Yes, they do.
so cool bro i care so much 🤓
😂
So cool cool
You have such a soothing voice! Beautiful Hibiscus!
Thank you.
I just planted some yesterday in my garden. Haven’t bloomed yet so it was nice to see your short video on how it looks in full bloom. TY!
May you have many years of enjoyment from them.
Cool
It’s good for diabetics?
Yea it is
As soon as you get out the car and stand infront of the tree/bush there is audio feedback of some sort a high pitched repetitive beeping
I noticed as well. Thanks for being observant.
Do all pennies contain copper Got my answer. Before 1980
Copper coated zinc.
This citronella oil is really a good mosquito repellent I use citronella essential oil from Anveya which is organic and safe and skin friendly too
My brother has a few of them in his yard One big tree and a bunch of saplings I can’t wait to try one I Hurd so much about them being so good
the old Pennys also have zinc :copper zinc 3:1 ratio
I got som free phals that were dying & wilted so I gave them an emergency drink of cold coffee cause it was all I had in the car & they were so dry. By the time I got home they actually looked better. So I repotted & eventually they were ok. I do not recommend coffee but a weak tea for rescue til they can be properly rinsed & repotted as needed.
Thanks 👍 for this video. I was searching for a video like this. Yours was the only one on RUclips. This thought came to my mind 2 weeks ago and your video confirmed that it's possible to deter mice by growing mint inside and outside your house. Thanks 😊👍
Is citronella safe for pets? I'm concerned that being in the geranium family is may be toxic
Thank you so much! I grew my 1st a this year including this and looked up how to harvest it and it led me directly to your very helpful video😁
Do you still need to boil the bones if they have been cooked, e.g., a rack of ribs?
The reason for the boiling and extra baking is to soften the bones to be crushed. Otherwise they will be too hard and can be dangerous to try to crush without industrial machinery.
I’ve actually read that citronella is poisonous to dogs and I’ve heard you mention twice that you’re going to use it as bedding. I wouldn’t do that. So your dog might enjoy rolling around in it, it wouldn’t be good if she/he ingested it
The real citronella plant looks like grass. What the store sells us as citronella is actually Lemon Scented Geranium
Why is this?
@@evilchinchula that I don't have an answer to. But I did take the lemon scented geranium simmer it in coconut oil and made an oil for my dry skin. Its actually really awesome for dry skin
citronella grass And citronella plant (leafs) are similar but different
I have loads of old pennies, and they never held any sort of value for me until now. Thank you for sharing this information. I'm glad I don't have to look too far to get a hold of some copper to sustain a garden.
Much love family
Sending love back at ya! ❤️🙏🏽
Tysm for sharing this. You have a beautiful plant now!
You're welcome and thanks.
Good pointers my roommate wanted my chicken rotisserie bones to do this. Everything can be composted now, but I’m learning along the way. 😅
😍 my favorite flower. How beautiful!
It is a Beauty! 😍
Lovely bloom 💕 and the choice of music was very cool 😎 thanks for sharing!
